Rahmat, Reward, Reflect:Ramadhan

In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most merciful.

Alhamdullillah, today’s 1st Ramadhan. Praise Allah that we are given such blessing to have Ramadhan again this year. Alhamdullillah. Tarawikh here, meant, that all of us rotating becoming te bilal and Kak Tiah, Dar, Kak Dhuha and Su rotating as imams. Definitely a brand new experience. Alhamdullillah.

Ramadhan, as I see it this year, is different. Of course it’s because I’m in a totally different place, but that’s not the different I’m talking about. It is different from the angle that I’ve  been viewing it for the past 20 years.

Ramadhan is a month in which everything we do is rewarded highly by Allah. This is the month when any of our ‘ibadah’ will be taken into account to its greatest rank. Being generous is definitely an Islamic merit, but being more generous in Ramadhan is even more higly rewarded. The best thing for Ramadhan is the ‘Lailatul Qadar’ night which falls in one of the last 10 nights of Ramadhan. It is promised that, any prayers and dua’s performed in the night of Al-Qadr, it will be listened, thus granted by Allah. Indeed, Ramadhan is a gift from Allah to Musims.

Ramadhan is the month full with rahmat. It is a month where we practice to wake up in the middle of the night for tahajjud, we fast all day, keeping ourselves from futile conducts and recite all the 30 juzu’s of the quran. InsyAllah.

Ramadhan is a month for us to reflect our actions and recharge our iman.  It is the month where we seek within ourselves, the dosa we’ve committed and striving for improvement. Ramadhan is the month where we recharge our iman, topping up what has lessen and patching up our relationship with Allah. InsyAlllah.

Indeed, Ramadhan is Rahmat.
Ramadhan is Reflect and Recharge.
Ramadhan is Reward.
Let’s all race and be greedy throughout this month, for every acts taken in His name, will be rewarded highly. Allahu Akbar!
