New Year, New Spirits, iA.

In the name of Allah.

Believe it or not, it’s already 2011, and with God’s will, in a few months, I will turn 22. A big number it is.

I don’t have any resolution that I think worth sharing with everyone except trying to be a better Muslim, daughter, sister and friend for everyone who has been around me, supporting me both in the good and hard times.  I am hoping that 2011 will be an incredible year, better than 2010, although 2010 is not that shabby. No No. 2010 has been great, but I’m hoping for another great year, this year.

To everyone who knows me,

May your coming year be filled with magic and dreams and good madness. I hope you read some fine books and kiss someone who thinks you’re wonderful, and don’t forget to make some art — write or draw or build or sing or live as only you can. And I hope, somewhere in the next year, you surprise yourself.
